Susan Donovan has a decade of experience working with health system stakeholders and community-based organizations to develop, fund, and implement programming to improve health and reduce healthcare costs. She thrives when working to align diverse interests, build consensus, and drive meaningful action.
Most recently, Susan served as the Managing Director of Nexus Montgomery – a collaboration among six hospitals in Montgomery County, MD – directing shared investment in high-value community programming and capacity building. In this role, she worked with the Board of Managers to jointly set strategy, develop programs, and manage performance of investments. Susan also spent five years at Johns Hopkins Medicine, working between the clinical delivery system and the Medicaid MCO, Medicare Advantage Plan, and Accountable Care Organization to implement state and federal policy innovations.
A native Midwesterner and long-time DC area resident, you can currently find Susan, her husband and two daughters living the island life on Amelia Island, FL.
